Notice of Approval of a Scheme Under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

M. 448/91

Notice is hereby given that approval of a scheme in respect of the will of Edith Esther Nixon, was given by order of the High Court at Wellington on Tuesday, the 4th day of February 1992.

The scheme approved varied the will of the above-named testatrix by deleting the following clause:

“To hold the balance upon trust to divide the same into five equal parts and to hold two such parts upon trust for the Wellington Presbyterian Social Service Association Incorporated to be applied equally towards the general purposes of the Kilmarnock Home for Aged and the Childrens Home at Berhampore ...”

and by replacing that clause with the following:

“To hold the balance upon trust to divide the same into five equal parts and to hold one of such parts upon trust for the Presbyterian Social Services Central for the general purposes of the Kilmarnock Home for the Aged and to hold a second of such equal parts for the Presbyterian Support Services Central for the general purposes of their preventative and counselling programmes for the benefit of children in need of care and protection in the Wellington region”.
