Road Realignment in Taupo District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road and vested in The Taupo District Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and that:

(i) Area “D”, now known as Section 1, S.O. 56268, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 10A/1403, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 863883.3, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) Area “F”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 56268, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 10A/1404, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 220515.3, South Auckland Land Registry.

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 56268, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District

Declaring Land to be Road and Road Stopped in Selwyn District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road which, pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway 73, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The areas marked “M”, “Q”, “AA”, “AD”, “AG” and “AI” on S.O. Plan 17781, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title Volume 28B, folio 68.

(ii) The areas marked “K” and “O” on S.O. Plan 17781, shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.

Land at Hinds Acquired for a Public School

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a public school and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.
