Declaring Crown Land Set Apart for a Public School in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto to be set apart for a public school and one equal undivided half part or share in the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be set apart for a public school.

Amending Notice—Land at Okains Bay Acquired for a Teachers Residence

Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice dated the 5th day of February 1992 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 20th day of February 1992, No. 21 at page 427, by firstly omitting from the heading reference to the word “resident” and inserting the word “residence” and secondly, omitting from the Schedule reference to the word “part”.

Water Supply Easement Acquired for Tuai Village

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Gisborne, declares an agreement to that effect having been entered into, that:

(a) The easement to convey water over the land described in the First Schedule as appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule and registered under No. 168137.2, is hereby surrendered.

(b) The following easement is acquired as an easement in gross for water supply purposes and shall vest in The Wairoa District Council on the date of publication in the Gazette.

Easement:

The right to convey water by means of underground pipes through the land described in the First Schedule such grant being subject to the rights and powers contained in clauses 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, provided that:

(1) The Wairoa District Council shall pay the costs of maintaining and repairing the pipeline.

(2) The owners of the land in the First Schedule and their successors in title shall not erect any building or structure or plant any tree or shrub on the said land.
