Christchurch Fire District Notice 1992

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Christchurch Fire District Notice 1992.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 2nd day of April 1992.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous Christchurch Fire District Notices.

Constitution of the Christchurch Fire District

4. The Urban Area of the City of Christchurch is hereby constituted into the Christchurch Fire District.

5. The boundaries of the Christchurch Fire District constituted by this notice, are defined and delineated on a plan held at the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington. Reference Number Ops 4/1/5A01.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, authorises the exchange of that part of the esplanade reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Cancellation of the Vesting and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation hereby cancels the vesting in The Waitaki District Council and revokes the reservation over that part of the plantation reserve, described in the Schedule hereto and further declares the land to be Crown land under the Land Act 1948.
