(b) Two persons appointed, in writing, by the Marlborough District Council; and
(c) One person representing the forest owners in the district appointed, in writing, by the Marlborough Forest Owners Association; and
(d) Two persons appointed, in writing, by the Director-General of the Department of Conservation; and
(e) One person resident in the district to represent the interests of other residents and ratepayers and appointed, in writing, by the Marlborough District Council; and
(f) One person (resident in the district) appointed, in writing, by the Federated Farmers of New Zealand Incorporated; and
(g) One person appointed, in writing, by the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Fire Service.
- Restricted fire season—The period between the 1st day of October in any one year and the 30th day of September in the following year (both days inclusive) is hereby declared to be a restricted fire season in the district.
Schedule
Marlborough and Nelson Land District
All that area in the Marlborough and Nelson Land Districts, Marlborough District and Nelson City and described generally as follows:
Firstly all that area of the Marlborough District bounded by the western boundary of the Marlborough District commencing at its junction with the sea at Onanaga Bay, thence in a southerly direction along the district boundary to the Marlborough-Nelson Land District boundary; thence in a south-westerly direction along the Marlborough-Nelson Land District boundary to the Wairau River, thence in a north-easterly direction along the left bank of the Wairau River to its junction with the sea coast at the Thomas Road overflow and including all islands adjoining this section of sea.
Secondly all that area containing 9615 hectares, more or less, shown by a bold black line on S.O. Plan 14938 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Nelson and as the same on the plan number NRFA 110 deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service at Wellington.

Public Trust Office Act 1967
Unclaimed Property—Notice of Appointment of the Public Trustee as Manager Under Part V of the Public Trust Office Act 1957
Pursuant to section 80 (1) of the Public Trust Office Act 1967, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that on the 27th day of November 1992, and pursuant to the provisions of Part V of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, orders were made by the High Court of New Zealand first appointing the Public Trustee, manager of all those parcels of land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 370, folio 194 and Volume E3, folio 253 (Wellington Registry) and, secondly, appointing the Public Trustee as manager of the personal property situate in New Zealand of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and thirdly, providing that transfers of the above described parcels of land or any part of the same duly executed by the manager and otherwise in registrable form shall be accepted by the District Land Registrar for registration. On presentation for registration of any such transfer the presently existing caveat made pursuant to section 211 of the Land Transfer Act 1952 shall permanently cease to apply to the land thereby transferred and shall be withdrawn by the District Land Registrar accordingly.

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 1 (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

85.4460 hectares, more or less, being Section 47, Hillersden Settlement, situated in Block XIII, Mt Olympus Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977
Appointment of the Otago Branch of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society to Control and Manage Part of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby appoints the Otago Branch of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, for a term of 5 years from the 1st day of January 1993, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for scenic purposes.
