Redefining the Purpose of a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, which was laid off as a Maori reservation on the 11th day of November 1969 and published in New Zealand Gazette on the 20th day of November 1969, No. 76, page 2341, shall hereinafter be so set aside as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a Ratana Church site for the common use and benefit of all the Ahipara Maori people of that faith.

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1992, No. 18.
2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
