Conservation Act 1987

Amendment to Notice

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby amends the notice declaring land to be held for conservation purposes published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1992, No. 141, page 2963, by deleting the Schedule and substituting in its place the following Schedule.

Wellington Land District—Wanganui District

355.9144 hectares, more or less, being Section 52, Block VI, Mangawhero Survey District, S.O. 24467, subject to renewable lease comprised in certificate of title 975/23.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (museum) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter form part of the Te Kopia Scenic Reserve.
