Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land As A Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, those parts of Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a communal garden for the common use and benefit of the beneficial owners of the Wiremu Kairau Trust and their families.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All those pieces of land, situated in Block V, Mangakahia Survey District, being Mimitiu Ruarei 4B2H, 4B2J and part 4B2K; described as follows:

Area Being
3306 m² Mimitiu Ruaerei 4B2H, 4B2J and part Mimitiu Ruaerei 12B20 4B2K; being those parts of land contained in the partition order of the Maori Land Court, dated 4 September 1947.

That portion of land situated in Block IV, Newcastle Survey District and described as follows:

Area Being
1.2070 ha More or less, part Parish of Komakorau, Lot 384, Block as created by the Maori Land Court by amalgamation order, dated 21 June 1989.

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of an Urupa to be known as Ngarangi Urupa for the common use and benefit of the Ngāti Koroki and Ngāti Kahukura hapu.

All that piece of land situated in Block III, Maungatautari Survey District and described as follows:

Area Being
0.7327 ha Maungatautari 3A54A1L Block, as created by the Maori Land Court by partition order, dated 3 February 1914 and which is more particularly delineated on ML Plan 10304.

Notice Cancelling a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori Reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto set apart by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 1, page 19 of the 15th day of December 1970, is hereby cancelled.

All that piece of land situated in Block 1, Tauhara Survey District.

Area Being
4047 m² All that land contained in a partition order of the Court, dated 3 March 1917, and being Rangatira No. 8A, Section 1T, No. 2A.

Corrigendum

Amending a Notice Releasing Land From Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive, Ministry of Maori Development, amends the notice dated the 3rd day of November 1992, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 5 November 1992, No. 179, page 3747, releasing land from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, by deleting the Second Schedule and substituting the following Schedule.
