Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Notice Revoking Section of State Highway and Declaring New Section of State Highway

State Highway No. 1 Mangaraupi Deviation

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand gives notice that, with effect from the date of this notice, the State highway status of the bypassed section of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked; and the new section of public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

First Schedule

All of that section of State Highway No. 1 from the intersection of the new section of State Highway No. 1 at the southern end of the Rata Straights at Route Position 817/3.50, along Jeffersons Line to its intersection with Norwood Lane, then along Norwood Lane to its junction with the new section of State Highway No. 1 at Route Position 817/9.20, a total length of 5.70 kilometres.

Second Schedule

All of that new section of State Highway No. 1 from its intersection with Jeffersons Line southward to its junction with Norwood Lane, a total length of 4.2 kilometres.

Conservation Act 1987

Authorisation of the Exchange of Land Held for Conservation Purposes (Stewardship Area) for Other Land

Pursuant to section 16A of the Conservation Act 1987 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of the land held for conservation purposes (stewardship area) described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Waikato District

24.2862 hectares, more or less, being part Section 3, Block I, Cambridge Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1992, page 3466. Together with appurtenant right of way created by Consolidation Order 10751. S.O. Plan 40536.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Waikato District

75.9671 hectares, more or less, being Allotment 474A2D, Taupiri Parish, situated in Block VII, Hauraki Survey District. All certificate of title 50D/733. M.L. Plan 9310.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of the Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a Government purpose (nursery) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Manager, Protection Division, Canterbury, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
