(b) $389.62 in the case of a person who requires 24 hour a day supervision and care; and
(c) $453.62 in the case of a person who requires 24 hour a day supervision and care plus active support and therapy such as day programmes and rehabilitation programmes.
“Standard income” means the appropriate amount set out in the Schedule to this Direction.
In the case of a married couple (including a married couple where one of the spouses is unlawfully resident in New Zealand) the chargeable income, fixed costs and cash assets of the applicant shall include those of his or her spouse.
This Direction shall apply in respect of applications for that benefit received on or after the 22 October 1992, and in respect of any renewals of that benefit on or after that date.

State Sector Act 1988
Appointment of Supervising Officer
Whereas pursuant to section 28 of the State Sector Act 1988, the Minister of Transport did delegate his power under section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, to the Secretary for Transport by an Instrument of Delegation dated 12 April 1990.
And whereas pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, the Secretary for Transport did delegate those powers under section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950 to me by an Instrument of Delegation dated 9 May 1990.
Therefore I, Thomas Edwin Law, Senior Advisory Officer (Harbours Management), pursuant to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of the powers delegated to me, hereby appoint
Brian Richard Spake as a Supervising Officer for Bay of Plenty Region
for the purposes of the Harbours Act 1950, and the Water Recreation Regulations 1979.
