The New Zealand Acts and regulations written examination
will be held on Friday, the 20th day of November 1992 at
9 a.m.
Applications, on the proper form together with the prescribed
fee, must reach the secretary of the board before the 2nd day
of November 1992.
Application forms and information about the board’s
requirements should be obtained from the undersigned.
The prescribed fee for the examination is $33.75 (including
GST).

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Application to Amend an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 14A of the International Air Services
Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Air New
Zealand has applied for amendments to its International Air
Service Licence so as to allow the airline to introduce services
from New Zealand via Australia to Taipei and Bangkok from
1 November 1992, with frequency on each route beyond
Australia to be up to the equivalent of 2 return B767 services
per week.
Any person or organisation desiring to make representations
relating to this application must forward those representations
in writing to reach me on or before 2 October 1992.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence
Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power
conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services
Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International
Air Service Licence issued to Air New Zealand so as to allow
the airline to operate up to 4 return services per week from
New Zealand to Taipei, up to 4 B767 return services per week
from New Zealand to Bangkok and up to 3 B767 return
services per week from New Zealand to Denpasar and beyond
to Singapore, with effect from 1 November 1992.

Transport Act 1962
The Traffic (Franklin District) Notice No. 2, 1992
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the
Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary
for Transport, J. John Paul Edgar, Senior Traffic Engineer,
Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:
Notice
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin District)
Notice No. 2, 1992.
The notice headed The Traffic (Franklin District) Notice
No. 1, 1992, which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette on
9 July 1992, No. 105, page 2379, is amended as indicated in
the Schedules hereto.
The areas specified in the First Schedule are declared to be
closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of
the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be
70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation
21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
So much of the Traffic (Franklin District) Notice No. 1, 1992,
signed on the 6th day of July 1992*, which relates to roads in
the Schedules below, issued pursuant to section 52 of the
Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic
Regulations 1976, is revoked.
