Transport

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Invercargill District) Notice No. 1, 1992

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, J. John Paul Edgar, Senior Traffic Engineer, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Invercargill District) Notice No. 1, 1992.

The road specified in the First Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Invercargill City) Notice No. 4, 1990, signed on the 24th day of December 1990*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within Invercargill City at Makarewa:

Flora Road: from Calypso Road to Actaeon Road.

Second Schedule

Situated within Invercargill City at Makarewa:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 240 metres measured northerly, generally along the said State highway from Flora Road to a point 240 metres measured southerly, generally along the said State highway from Flora Road.
