Road Deviation at Allandale

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 79, and shall vest in the Crown.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 731/18.

361 square metres being Part Lot 1, D.P. 19321 shown marked ‘H’ on plan.

Second Schedule

Canterbury Land District—Mackenzie District

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 18543, lodged in the Office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.

Surrender of Easement to Convey Fuel Oil—Whirinaki Oil Pipeline

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, hereby declares as follows:

1. By declaration, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, dated the 14th day of November 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette 1986, No. 185, page 4946 and registered in the Land Transfer Office at Napier under No. 470702.2, the Crown acquired an easement in gross to convey fuel oil for the purposes of generation of electricity.

2. Pursuant to clause 8 thereof, the Crown retained the right to surrender such easement by way of notice in the Gazette.

3. The Crown hereby surrenders all rights contained in the said easement effective as at the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.
