Road Realignment in Rotorua and Western Bay of Plenty Districts

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and that the areas firstly to fourthly described be vested in The Rotorua and Western Bay of Plenty District Councils, that the areas fifthly to thirteenthly described be vested in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, and that the areas fourteenthly to twentiethly described be vested in The Rotorua City Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 119, declares:

(i) That the piece of stopped road firstly described and the land taken firstly described, now known together as Section 1, S.O. 47354; and the pieces of stopped road secondly to fourthly described, now known as Sections 3, 5 and 6, S.O. 47354, respectively shall be added to the adjoining land held for the Lake Rotoehu Scenic Reserve and contained in Gazette notice H. 199143.

(ii) That the pieces of stopped road fifthly to tenthly described, now known as Sections 7 and 8, S.O. 47354, Sections 3 and 4, S.O. 47355, and Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 47356 respectively, shall be added to the adjoining land held for the Lake Rotoehu Scenic Reserve and contained in Gazette notice H. 199142.

(iii) The piece of stopped road thirteenthly described and the land taken secondly described, now known together as Section 1, S.O. 47355, and the pieces of stopped road eleventhly and twelfthly described and fourteenthly to sixteenthly described, now known as Sections 2 and 4, S.O. 47354, Sections 2 and 4, S.O. 47355, and Section 3, S.O. 47356 respectively, to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
