Auckland Regional Council

Levy of Regional Petrol Tax

Pursuant to the powers vested in it by sections 200c and 200D of the Local Government Act 1974, and every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Auckland Regional Council resolved at its meeting held on Tuesday, the 2nd day of June 1992, in respect of a Regional Petrol Tax, that Council adopt a single tax of 1.07 cents per litre, including GST, to apply over the urban area served by passenger transport in the Auckland Region.

This area includes the whole of North Shore and Auckland Cities except the Gulf Islands (other than Waiheke Island); Papakura District; the built up area of Waitakere City including Titirangi and Laingholm; Manukau City excluding the Clevedon ward; in Rodney District, the areas served by public transport as far as Kaukapakapa and Leigh; and in Franklin District the areas served by public transport as far as Pukekohe and Waiuku.

The area over which the Regional Petrol Tax is to be levied is shown in detail marked on the ARC Auckland Regional Petrol Tax Area Map which is available for inspection at the Transport Department, Auckland Regional Council, Level Three, 21 Pitt Street, Auckland.

Fire Service Act 1975

Kaiapoi, Ashburton and Rangiora Fire Districts Notice 1992

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Kaiapoi, Ashburton and Rangiora Fire Districts Notice 1992.

  2. This notice shall come into force on the 10th day of August 1992.

  3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous Fire District Notices for each of the Fire Districts listed in this Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

  1. The urban areas of the towns in the following Schedule are hereby constituted into Fire Districts.

  2. The boundaries of the Fire Districts constituted by this notice are defined and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

New Zealand Fishing Industry Board Act 1963

Fish Levy Regulations 1976

Fixing a Levy on Fish

Pursuant to the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board Act 1963 and the Fish Levy Regulations 1976, a notice is hereby given by the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board that:

(a) From and after the 1st day of August 1992, every wholesaler shall pay to the Board a fish levy on all fish except rock lobster and paua taken or purchased by him (otherwise than from another wholesaler) at a rate of 1.1 percent of the primary price of those fish, and

(b) From and after the 1st day of August 1992, every wholesaler shall pay to the Board a fish levy on rock lobster and paua taken or purchased by him (otherwise than from another wholesaler) at a rate of 1.5 percent of the primary price of those rock lobster and paua, and

(c) From and after the 1st day of August 1992, the fisherman’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.367 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.584 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster and paua, and

(d) From and after the 1st day of August 1992, the wholesaler’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.367 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.583 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster and paua, and

(e) From and after the 1st day of August 1992, the retailer’s contribution will be at the rate of 0.366 percent of the primary value of those fish, and at the rate of 0.333 percent of the primary value of those rock lobster and paua, and

(f) Notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 April 1992, No. 57, pages 1171 and 1172, is consequently revoked.

Otago Regional Council

Notice of Regional Petrol Tax Levy

Pursuant to Section 200b of the Local Government Act 1974

Notice is hereby given that the Otago Regional Council has resolved to levy a regional petrol tax of 0.5c per litre (GST exclusive) on leaded and unleaded petrol, to be applied for a period of 3 years over the Dunedin urban transport area, and that the rate be subject to confirmation of the litres sold in the urban transport area by the oil companies.
