Mental Health Act 1969

Declaration of Psychiatric Hospital at Auckland Hospital Auckland

Pursuant to section 6 of the Mental Health Act 1969, the Minister of Health declares the building described in the Schedule hereto to be a psychiatric hospital for the purposes of the Mental Health Act.

Schedule

The Auckland Central Acute Psychiatric Unit, Auckland Hospital, Grafton, Auckland, is a separate building adjacent to the building currently used as a clinic for sexually transmitted diseases. It is bordered on the north by the Auckland Domain perimeter and on the south by the roadway, which is part of the existing Auckland Hospital roading.
