The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 2, 1992
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:
Notice
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 2, 1992.
The area specified in the First Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The road specified in the Third Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 1, 1980, dated on the 17th day of January 1980*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is revoked.
First Schedule
Situated within Whakatane District at Ohope:
All those roads, with the exception of those mentioned in the Second and Third Schedules, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-western side of West End Road at its intersection with the northern side of Ohope Road; thence across Ohope Road at right angles from its northern side to its southern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along the south-western side of Pohutukawa Avenue to the eastern bank of the Maraetotara Stream; thence south-westerly, generally, along the said bank of the Maraetotara Stream to a point due west of the western end of Kowhai Street; thence due east by a right line to the western end of Kowhai Street; thence easterly, generally, along the southern side of Kowhai Street to its intersection with the western side of Wainui Road; thence across Wainui Road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence due south by a right line to the northern shoreline of Ohiwa Harbour; thence south-easterly, generally, and northerly, generally, along the northern shoreline of Ohiwa Harbour to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence north-westerly, generally, along the shore of the Bay of Plenty to a point due north of the north-western end of West End Road; thence due south by a right line to the north-western end of West End Road; thence south-easterly, generally, along the south-western side of West End Road to the commencing point.
Second Schedule
Situated within Whakatane District at Ohope:
Pohutukawa Avenue: from the eastern end of the bridge over the Maraetotara Stream to Harbour Road.
Wainui Road: from Harbour Road to Kowhai Street.
Third Schedule
Situated within Whakatane District at Ohope:
Harbour Road: from a point 1360 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Harbour Road to its south-eastern end.

The Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice No. 1, 1992
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:
Notice
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice No. 1, 1992.
The road specified in the First Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
So much of the Traffic (Hamilton City and Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1989, signed on the 7th day of August 1989*, which relates to the road in the Schedules below issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.
First Schedule
Situated within Hamilton City:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 60 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Lorne Street; and from the southern boundary of Hamilton City to Resthill Crescent.
Second Schedule
Situated within Hamilton City:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 60 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Lorne Street; and from Resthill Crescent to a point 750 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Resthill Crescent.
