Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Maori Reservation is Made
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto was constituted by notice dated 17th day of February 1983 and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, page 498 of 24 February 1983, is now made for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of firstly, Ngai Tawhiri and secondly, the Maori of Gisborne, East Coast.

All that piece of land situated in Blocks II and VI, Turanganui Survey District and described as follows:
Area
m² Being
9604 Awapuni 1L2F and being all of the land contained in partition order dated 3 December 1956.

Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Maori Reservation is Made
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto was constituted by notice dated 17th day of February 1983 and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, page 497 of 24 February 1983, is now made for the purpose of a recreation ground, sports ground and a place of historic interest for the common use and benefit of firstly, Ngai Tawhiri and secondly, the Maori of Gisborne, East Coast.

Redefining the Purposes and Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Maori Reservation is Made
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5) (c) and (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purposes and class of persons for whose use and benefit the Maori reservation was in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 23 April 1987, No. 59, page 1793, are hereby redefined as a marae, church site and urupa for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ringatu Church and the Maori people of New Zealand.
