Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the appointment of the Matamata-Piako District Council to control and manage the Te Tapui Scenic Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waikato District Council on the 12th day of March 1991:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waikato District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

Burial and Cremation Act 1964

Closure of Okarito Cemetery

Pursuant to section 41 (1) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, Simon Upton, Minister of Health, hereby direct that the cemetery, being the land particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Okarito Cemetery shall be closed and burials therein discontinued from 14 October 1991.
