Road Stopped and Land Taken in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton;

(a) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the piece of road described in the First Schedule hereto to be stopped and to be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948,

(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be taken and further declares that the said land, now known as Section 1, S.O. 47025, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 21B/801, subject to memoranda of mortgage H.103673.8, H.598228.2 and H.103673.10, South Auckland Land Registry.

Land and Easement Acquired for Water Supply Purposes in Whakatane District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for water supply purposes, and the right to convey water by easement (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto) is hereby acquired for water supply purposes over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land and easement shall vest in The Whakatane District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
