Writing on behalf of the Comptroller of Customs Mr Wotherspoon has expressed the opinion that the subject publications have maintained this consistency of format and content, apart from the comic strips entitled “Ready For It” on pages 34 and 35 of Vol. 4, No. 3 and “Sweet Medicine” in Vol. 4, No. 4. While the comic strips depict some heterosexual activity, Mr Wotherspoon said that his department considers that taking the publications as a whole, that an age restriction of indecent in the hands of persons under the age of 18 years may be appropriate. On this basis an interim restriction order is made accordingly classifying XS, Vol. 4, No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 as indecent in the hands of persons under the age of 18 years.
