Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Ground at Mangere (Notice No. 5073; QUAL/0966/MAN)

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land at 82 McKenzie Road, Mangere, being part Lot 1, D.P. 37200, Manakau District, certificate of title 1359/61, comprising 0.1899 hectares, more or less, is hereby declared to be a Special Quarantine Ground for the detention of imported animals or of one or more kinds of imported animals.

The Fisheries (Cancellation of Crown Quota for Rock Lobster) Notice 1991, No. 5074

Pursuant to section 280D (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Cancellation of Crown Quota for Rock Lobster) Notice 1991.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice any reference to a quota management area means the appropriate quota management area as defined in the Maori Fisheries Act 1989.

  2. Cancellation of Crown holdings of rock lobster—(1) Pursuant to section 280D (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Crown holdings of 0.008 tonnes of transferable term quota in the following quota management area are hereby cancelled:

The total allowable commercial catch for rock lobster in this area is accordingly reduced in the manner specified in clause 2 of the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Order 1991.

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard from Thailand, Amendment No. 2 (Duty Reassessment)

Pursuant to section 14 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (“the Act”), the Minister of Commerce, having carried out a reassessment of anti-dumping duty in respect of imports into New Zealand of certain plasterboard from Thailand and having determined a new anti-dumping duty applicable to those goods, gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard from Thailand, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the notice entitled “Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard from Thailand” dated 21 December 1989 and published in the Gazette of 11 January 1990* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) The reassessed anti-dumping duty, set out in the Schedule to this notice, shall apply in relation to imports of the goods specified in the said Schedule with effect from 18 April 1991.

  1. Amendment to anti-dumping duty applicable—(1) The principal notice (as amended by notice in the Gazette of 8 March 1990 entitled “Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard from Thailand, Amendment No. 1”) is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule and substituting the Schedule to this notice.

  2. Consequential revocation—The notice entitled “Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard from Thailand, Amendment No. 1”, and published in the Gazette of 8 March 1990, is hereby revoked.

Schedule

Amount of Anti-Dumping Duty

The anti-dumping duty which is to be charged, collected and paid on demand of the Collector in respect of each importation of plasterboard—

Being either standard or foil-backed plasterboard having nominal dimensions of 9 mm or 9.5 mm thickness by 1200 mm width by 2400 mm to 3600 mm length and falling within Tariff items 6809.11.00 and 6809.19.00, when exported by SCT Co Ltd. and Thai Gypsum Products Co. Ltd., and imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand from Thailand—shall be equal to the amount by which the export price of the goods is less than the free-on-board import prices in respect of standard and of foil-backed plasterboard as follows:
