Pursuant to section 48 (1) (a) of the Medicines Act 1981, I, Simon David Upton, Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of Benzodiazepine and its derivatives by James Stanley Shanks, medical practitioner, Shands Road, Christchurch.
