Far North District Council
Reserves Act 1977
Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, the Far North District Council has changed the purpose of two reserves.
(1) Local Purpose Reserve
Council resolution: “Change of Local Purpose Reserve (Service Lane) to Local Purpose Reserve (Road) for that strip of land which lies between Lot 2, D.P. 114630 and Lot 9, D.P. 7437, Town of Kaikohe.”
The change to this reserve was publicly notified in May and no objections were received.
(2) Local Purpose Reserve (Civic)
Council resolution: “That pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, in respect of 552 square metres of land being part C.T. 38B/557, shown on Land Transfer Plan 134473, Council resolves to change the purpose of the reserve from Local Purpose (Site for Pioneer Village) to Local Purpose (Civic).”
The change was publicly notified and no objections received.
