Pursuant to sections 10 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby amends the notice dated the 19th day of February 1991, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 21 February 1991, No. 29, page 611, declaring railway land on the Kingston branch railway not now required for that purpose to be declared Crown land by:

Omitting all the land thirdly described therein.

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto, being an area previously held by the Canterbury Education Board for a school site shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens or easements affecting the same at the date of this proclamation.
