Declaring Land at Kiwitahi to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

South Auckland Land District—Matamata-Piako District

All those pieces of land situated in Block XI and XII, Maungakawa Survey District described as follows:

As shown marked as above mentioned on Plan L.O. 36456 (S.O. 58556), lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Local Government Act 1974

Amendment to a Notice Transferring Unformed Legal Road

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Lands hereby amends an error in the notice transferring unformed legal road situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 U13 Sheet 1.4, shown as Area A on S.O. Plan 58410 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 20 December 1990, No. 223, page 5121, by omitting from the said notice the words “Taupo District Council” and inserting in their place the words “Western Bay of Plenty District Council.”

In the notice with the above heading, dated 15 February 1991 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 21 February 1991, No. 29 at page 616, omit from the Second Schedule thereto the following:

‘10 m² Part Lot 1, D.P. 9378; marked “I” on plan’,

and insert

‘10 m² Part Lot 1, D.P. 9378; marked “L” on plan’

which reference appears in the original notice signed on behalf of the Minister of Lands.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice, dated the 31st day of January 1991 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of February 1991, No. 21 at page 460 for land set apart for housing purposes by omitting from the Schedule thereto the following:

‘Lot 1’,

and inserting ‘part Lot 1’.
