Pursuant to section 4 of the Judicature Act 1908, Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, has been pleased to appoint

Paul Basil Temm, Esquire, one of Her Majesty’s Counsel of Auckland

to be a Judge of the High Court of New Zealand.

Lieutenant Garrick Edwin Beats, B.SC., RN Rtd, is appointed to the Regular Air Force on a fixed engagement of 5 years in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority from 14 January 1987 and effect from 18 June 1990.
