Animals Act 1967

Approved Woolmarking Preparation (Notice No. 5064; Ag. 1300–38)
Pursuant to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967, and after consultation with the New Zealand Wool Board, I hereby give notice that the woolmarking preparation set out in the Schedule hereto (being a product of Ancare Distributors Ltd.) is approved for sale and use in marking wool of sheep.

This approval takes effect on the day following the date of publication in the Gazette.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land and premises owned by Brooklands Aquarium Ltd. of 5 McGiven Drive, New Plymouth, situated on Lot 5, certificate of title, Section 484/Section 483 on Block 1 × Paritutu Survey District, comprising 1.3710 hectares, more or less, is hereby declared to be a special quarantine ground for the detention of imported animals.

Electricity Act 1968

Notice of Approval of the Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Electric Security Fences (NZ ECP21/2:1991)
Pursuant to section 24C of the Electricity Act 1968, I, John Luxton, Minister of Energy, give notice that on the 22nd day of January 1991, I approved the Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Electric Security Fences NZ ECP21/2:1991 issued by the Chief Electrical Inspector, Ministry of Commerce, acting under delegated authority on the 29th day of November 1990, and amended by agreement after the consultation required by the Electricity Act 1968.

Copies of the Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Electric Security Fences may be obtained from the Chief Electrical Inspectors Office, Energy and Resources Division, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 2337, Wellington.

Proposed Electrical Safety Standards
The Secretary of Commerce invites submissions on the technical aspects of the 12 Australian Electrical Safety Standards listed in the Schedule to this notice.

It is proposed that the standards be inserted into New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for the Electrical Safety of Apparatus and Materials (NZECP3:1989) by amendment to the code pursuant to Part IIIA of the Electricity Act 1968 (as inserted by section 6 of the Electricity Amendment Act 1983).
