Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in Invercargill Hundred

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is acquired for river control purposes and shall vest in the Southland Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Land to be Declared Road and Road Stopped in Block XII, Waiau Survey District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road and shall vest in The Southland District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and when so stopped, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 162/54 limited, subject to all existing encumbrances.
