Notice is hereby given that by virtue of sections 439A and 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a landing place, fishing ground catchment area, bathing place and a place of historic, spiritual and cultural significance for the common use and benefit of the hapu of Whatapaka Marae o Tainui.

Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block XXXIII, Hokonui Survey District

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by The Southland District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
