The Traffic (Dunedin City) Notice No. 4, 1991
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, John Paul Edgar, Senior Traffic Engineer, give the following notice.
Notice
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Dunedin City) Notice No. 4 1991.
The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The Traffic (Waikouaiti County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated on the 13th day of January 1975*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 is revoked.

Approval of Course in Map Reading
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument dated the 1st day of October 1991, I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Controller Road User Standards, hereby approve the following organisation to conduct courses in map reading for the purposes of regulations 11 (1) (c) of the Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulations 1987:
New Zealand Automobile Association Inc (Wanganui District) under the direction of Martin Alvyn Brown.

Approval of Alternative Vehicle Standards
Pursuant to regulation 6 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby prescribe the Low Volume Vehicle Code 1992, S1 121291 as an alternative standard for all those items specified in the Second Schedule to the said regulations in respect of low volume vehicles as defined in the Schedule hereto.
Schedule
Definition of a Low Volume Vehicle
A vehicle that is manufactured, assembled or modified in quantities of 200 or less at any one location in any one year by a manufacturer whose total production of motor vehicles does not exceed 200 units over the same period, and the construction or modification of that vehicle directly or indirectly affects one of the standards as prescribed by the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and its amendments, or any vehicle declared by the Secretary for Transport to be a Low Volume Vehicle.
