(3) This notice shall expire on the 31st day of December 1992.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice "the Act" means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Authorised life insurance companies—(1) Each life insurance company named in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company.

(2) Equitable Life Insurance Company Limited is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act, in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company other than First Mortgage Bonds as described in a registered prospectus of that company dated the 21st day of November 1991.

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration that the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1a) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and to be classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.
