Securities Act 1978

The Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 5), 1991

Pursuant to the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

1. Title and Commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 5), 1991.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1992.

(3) This notice shall expire with the close of the 31st day of December 1992.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice “the Act” means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Authorised life insurance companies—Each life insurance company named in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Conservation Land to be a Reserve and Vesting of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares the conservation area described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart and classified as a recreation reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the reserve in The Wellington City Council subject to the provisions of that Act.

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land, jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and that it shall hereafter be so held.
