The notice "Limited Speed Zone Declared", issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, and for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956, situated within Pohangina County at Pohangina, dated on the 14th day of July 1961, (12), and

The notice "Limited Speed Zone Declared", issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, and for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956, situated within Pohangina County at Apiti, dated on the 30th day of April 1962, (13), and

The notice "Limited Speed Zone Extended" issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956, situated within Oroua County at Halcombe, dated on the 16th day of November 1966, (14), and

So much of the Traffic (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated on the 30th day of June 1977, (15), issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads in the Schedules below, are revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within Manawatu District:

In the Feilding Ward:

No. 54 State Highway (Mangaweka-Palmerston North via Kimbolton): from South Street to a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said highway from Turners Road.

Kawakawa Road: From South Street to a point 2000 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from South Street.

In the Kairanga Ward at Longburn:

No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North-Himatangi): From a point 640 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Carey Street to a point 640 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said highway from the said street.

In the Kairanga Ward, adjacent to Palmerston North City:

No. 1 Line: From Anders Road to a point 650 metres measured easterly, generally, along No. 1 Line from Anders Road.

In the Kairanga Ward, at Himatangi Beach:

Koputara Road: From a point 350 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Baring Street to a point 1000 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Baring Street.

In the Kiwitea Ward at Cheltenham:

No. 54 State Highway (Mangaweka-Palmerston North via Kimbolton): From Cheltenham-Hunterville Road to a point 160 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Cheltenham-Hunterville Road.

Cheltenham-Hunterville Road: From the No. 54 State highway (Mangaweka-Palmerston North via Kimbolton) to a point 320 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Cheltenham-Hunterville Road from the said State highway.

Cheltenham-Rangiwahia Road: From Cheltenham-Hunterville Road to a point 480 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Cheltenham-Hunterville Road.

In the Kiwitea Ward, at Halcombe:

Halcombe Road: From a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Monteith Street to a point 140 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Halcombe Road from Godfrey Street.

Mount Biggs Road: From Halcombe Road to a point 20 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Mount Biggs Road from Halcombe Road.

Stanway Road: From Halcombe Road to Gillett Street.

Willoughby Street: From a point 280 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Stanway Road to a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Willoughby Street from Stanway Road.

In the Kiwitea Ward at Rangiwahia:

Mangaroa Street.

Cheltenham-Rangiwahia Road: From Mangarere Road to Mangaroa Street.

In the Pohangina Ward at Apiti:

Makoura Road: From Oroua Valley Road to a point 300 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Makoura Road from Oroua Valley Road.

Oroua Valley Road: From a point 480 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Makoura Road to a point 320 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Oroua Valley Road from Makoura Road.

In the Pohangina Ward at Pohangina:

Pohangina Valley West Road: From a point 1000 metres, measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Finnis Road to a point 1000 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said Pohangina Valley West Road from Finnis Road.

Finnis Road: From Pohangina Valley West Road to Kuku Street.

Second Schedule

Situated within Manawatu District:

In the Feilding Ward:

All roads with the exception of those specified in the First Schedule and Third Schedule.

In the Kairanga Ward at Himatangi Beach:

All that area of Himatangi Beach township bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of Koputara Road 350 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Baring Street; thence due south 600 metres, thence due west to the coastline of the Tasman Sea; thence northerly, generally, along the said coastline by 1000 metres, thence due east 1300 metres, thence southerly, generally, to the commencing point.

In the Kairanga Ward at Rongotea:

Avon Street.
Douglas Square.
Humber Street.
Medway Street.
Mersey Street: From a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said street from Severn Street to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said street from Humber Street.

Ouse Street.
Severn Street.
Tamar Street.

Thames Street: From a point 50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said street from Trent Street to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Wear Street.

Trent Street.
Tyne Street.
Wear Street.
Wye Street.

In the Kairanga Ward at Tangimoana:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of Tangimoana Road 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, of its intersection with Punga Street; thence due south-west, by a right line, to the coastline of the Tasman Sea; thence northerly, generally, along the said coastline to the south-eastern bank of the Rangitikei River.
