Amending a Notice Declaring Land Taken and Stopped Government Road in Waitomo District to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton hereby amends the notice dated the 6th day of July 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 9 July 1987, No. 107 at page 3180, declaring land taken and stopped Government road in Waitomo District to the Crown land by:

(i) Deleting the words “section 42” and substituting the words “sections 117 and 119”,

(ii) Inserting the word “that” after the word “declares”,

(iii) Deleting the words “to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948” and substituting the words “, now known as Section 1, S.O. 51871, shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 1530A, recorded in register book, Volume 261, folio 26, held from Her Majesty the Queen by J T Were (Te Kumi) Limited at Te Kuiti, subject to mining licence H.196400 and to memoranda of mortgage H.227985, H.031227.5, H.063865.1, H.063865.2, H.235603.2 and H.177876.2. South Auckland Land Registry.”

Land and Easements Over Land in Hauraki District Acquired for Sewage Treatment Purposes

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and a right of way easement in perpetuity over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and a right to convey sewage easement in perpetuity over the land described in the Third Schedules hereto, such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, on the terms and conditions contained or implied in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, are hereby acquired for sewage treatment purposes and shall vest in The Hauraki District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
