Pursuant to section 51 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981, I, Kevin Phillip Williams, Chief Advisor, Operations Support (Safety and Health) of the Department of Labour in the exercise of those powers delegated to me by the Chief Inspector of Factories, pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, hereby give notice of my intention, after 1 month from the publication of this notice, to apply to the Minister of Labour for his approval of the β€œCode of Practice for the Safe Use of Timber Preservatives.”

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Amendment to Bylaw 1987/3: Bylaw to Control the Use of Unofficial Signs on State Highways

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw by inserting section 4B as follows:

4B No part of this bylaw shall apply in any area where a 50 km/h gazetted vehicle speed limit applies except within those local authorities which have been granted approval to administer the bylaw as set down in the Second Schedule as may be approved from time to time by resolution of the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Further Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw by inserting the Second Schedule as follows:
