Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Two Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury hereby revokes the reservation as utility reserves over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Kapuatohe Historic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Kapuatohe Historic Reserve to be administered as a historic reserve by The Christchurch City Council.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
