Glass for Vehicles, SABS 1191/1193-1978 and its amendments, as an alternative Standard for the purpose of regulation 26 and item 15 of the Second Schedule of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, subject to the condition set out below.

Condition of Approval

In addition to all the requirements of the standard, each separate piece of glass shall be distinctly and indelibly marked with the SABS standardisation mark to show compliance with SABS 1191/1193-1978 and its amendments.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Reservation of Land

Reserves Act 1977

Reclassification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, the Nelson/Marlborough Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby reclassifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as local purpose (site for playcentre) reserve, being formerly part of the Appleby Bridge Recreation Reserve.

Revocation of a Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation for a local purpose reserve (reservoir) over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that, the said land may be disposed of by The Upper Hutt City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other lands for reserves.

Cancellation of Vesting in The Ruapehu District Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Wanganui Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Ruapehu District Council and revokes the reservation as a site for the offices of The Waimarino County Council over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
