Her EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 15 of the Electoral Act 1956, as substituted by section 2 (1) of the Electoral Amendment Act 1991, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and on the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the nomination of the House of Representatives, has been pleased to appoint:
(a) As members of the Representation Commission to hold office under section 15 (2) of the Electoral Act 1956 (also so substituted):—
Ian McLean, of Rotorua (who is nominated to represent the Government); and
Lloyd Brian Flack, of Levin (who is nominated to represent the Opposition); and
(b) As members of the Representation Commission to hold office under section 15 (3) (b) of the Electoral Act 1956 (as so substituted), for the purpose of determining the boundaries of the Maori Electoral Districts—
James Wairata Brown, of Wellington (who is nominated to represent the Government), and
Whetu Marama Wereta, of Trentham (who is nominated to represent the Opposition).

as the Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Tribunal for a term of 5 years on and from the date hereof.

Rodger William Thompson of Brisbane, Queensland
to be a Commissioner of the High Court of New Zealand in Queensland and for the purpose of administering and taking oaths, affidavits and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Order for Restoration of Name to the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors

In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982,
Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on the 15th day of July 1991, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
-
That the name of the applicant Patricia Madge Cole, be restored to the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand;
-
That the applicant shall not practise as a solicitor on her own account whether in partnership or otherwise, until authorised by the Tribunal to do so;
-
That the applicant pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $3,300 in respect of costs and expenses of and incidental to the hearing of the application by the Tribunal;
-
That publication be prohibited of the names or any particulars of the affairs of persons mentioned in the proceedings.
