Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That The Area Become a Scientific Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Ministers responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scientific reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

Wellington Land District—Wanganui District

242.9300 hectares, more or less, being Section 547, left bank, Wanganui River, Block X, Ikitaru Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977

Vesting a Reserve in The Tasman District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Nelson/Marlborough Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby vests the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, in The Tasman District Council in trust for recreation purposes.

Cancellation of the Vesting in The Palmerston North City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Wanganui Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Palmerston North City Council and revokes the reservation as a site for a county depot over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 11 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1991, No. 2.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
