Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 30 March 1990 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Airways Motor Inn, corner of Bader Drive and Orly Avenue, Mangere.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the year. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(b) On the Thursday preceding Easter. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(c) On any Christmas Eve. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

Waterfront Industry Restructuring Act 1989

Notice of Approval of Determination Made by the Waterfront Industry Restructuring Authority

I, William Patrick Jeffries, Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 37 (4) of the Waterfront Industry Restructuring Act 1989 (“the Act”), hereby give approval to the determination of the Waterfront Industry Restructuring Authority made on the 24th day of April 1990, pursuant to section 37 of the Act as set out below:

1. That subject to clause 2 below the levy imposed by section 33 of the Act on each local authority that holds harbour board land shall be 75 percent of the net income of that local authority from that land.

2. No levy shall be payable in respect of any harbour board land which as at 31 October 1989 derived a gross income of less than $1,000.00 per annum.

3. The levy shall be paid by instalments as set out in the Schedule below. Such instalments shall be paid not later than the corresponding due date in the Schedule.
