Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Continental Airlines Inc. to allow the airline to operate services over the route San Francisco/Los Angeles-Honolulu-Auckland-Brisbane.

This amendment will take effect on the 4th day of July 1990.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Federal Express Corporation to allow the airline to operate a weekly freight service over the route New York-Chicago-Los Angeles-Honolulu-Nadi-Auckland-Sydney-Manila-Hong Kong.

This amendment will take effect on the 15th day of June 1990.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carme Mauricie Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Matamata-Piako District) Notice No. 1, 1990.

The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The notice issued pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 5th day of August 1958, which relates to a road situated within Te Aroha Borough, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Matamata-Piako District at Te Aroha.

All that area bounded by a line commencing along the eastern side of Centennial Avenue at a point measured 40 metres north of Tower View Terrace; then southerly, generally, along the said side of Centennial Avenue to the southern side of Tui Road; then easterly, generally, along the southern side of Tui Road to the eastern side of East Avenue; then due east to a point measured 700 metres south-easterly, generally, along Whitaker Street from Princess Street; then southerly, generally, by a right line to a point measured 700 metres along the eastern side of Whitaker Street from Princess Street; then across Whitaker Street at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; then north-westerly, generally, to a point measured 200 metres south-easterly, generally, along the north-eastern side of the intersection of Stanley Avenue and No. 26 State Highway (Kopu-Hamilton); then across Stanley Avenue at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; then south-westerly, generally, along the northern side of No. 26 State Highway (Kopu-Hamilton) to a point measured 360 metres from Stanley Avenue; then north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-western end of Pooles Road; then across Pooles Road at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; then north-westerly, generally, to the south-eastern side of Te Kawana Road; then across Stanley Avenue at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; then north-westerly, generally to the south-eastern side of Te Kawana Road.
