Amending a Notice Declaring Land Held for the Purposes of Buildings of the General Government Set Apart for the Generation of Electricity (Housing) at 26 Kutai Street, Turangi

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated the 4th day of January 1990, and published in the Gazette of 11 January 1990, No. 1, at page 24, declaring land held for the purposes of buildings of the general government to be set apart for the generation of electricity (housing) by omitting the Schedule and substituting the following:

Wellington Land District—Taupo District

1214 square metres, situated in the District of Taupo, being Section 12, Block VI, Town of Turangi. All certificate of title, No. 33D/934.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Held for the Purposes of Buildings of the General Government Set Apart for the Generation of Electricity (Housing) at 20, 22 and 28 Kutai Street, Turangi

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated the 21st day of February 1990, and published in the Gazette of 8 March 1990, No. 34, at page 745, declaring land held for the purposes of buildings of the general government to be set apart for the generation of electricity (housing) at 20, 22 and 28 Kutai Street, Turangi, by omitting from the Schedule the land thirdly described and substituting therefor the following:

“1214 Section 13, Block VI, Turangi Suburban. All certificate of title No. 34D/28.”

Easement Acquired in Hastings District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager/Chief Surveyor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into the following easement is acquired for the purposes of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (Research Station) over the land described in the First Schedule to be forever hereafter in the Second Schedule. The easement shall vest in the Crown on the date this declaration was published in the Gazette:

A right to drain water over the land first and secondly described in the First Schedule. Such grant being in accordance with Clauses 3 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, provided that the Crown (or its successor) shall at its expense maintain such drain in good and substantial repair.

Hawke’s Bay Land District

1. Drainage Easement: Part Lot 2, D.P. 9638; marked D on plan.
2. Drainage Easement: Part Lot 1, D.P. 9638; marked C on plan.

Both situated in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District.

Land at 410 and 414 Madras Street Acquired for Road Diversion

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road diversion and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.
