Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary of Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 9 March 1990 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Walpa Tavern, Main Road, Ngaruawahia.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Thursday and Saturday throughout the year. Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(b) On any Christmas Eve. Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(c) On any New Year’s Eve. Closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary of Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 9 March 1990 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Kopu Station Hotel, Main Road, Kopu.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday throughout the year. Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(b) On the Thursday preceding Easter. Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(c) On any Christmas Eve. Closing at 11 o’clock in the evening (being 1 hour after the usual hour of closing).

(c) On any New Year’s Eve. Closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary of Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee on 22 November 1989 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Kings Cross Hotel, corner of Queens Drive and King’s Crescent, Lower Hutt.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the public bar on the premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas Eve. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On any New Year’s Eve. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

This notice replaces the notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 February 1990, No. 26, page 514 and Corrigendum, 8 March 1990, No. 34, page 738.
