International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Polynesian Airlines (Holdings) Ltd., has applied for the renewal of its International Air Service Licence to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Western Samoa and New Zealand from 1 May 1990. Further details of this proposal may be obtained from the General Manager, Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt.
Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application, must forward these representations in writing to reach me on or before 23 March 1990.

Traffic Regulations 1976
Two Headlamp Requirement Exemption for Specified Class of Motor Vehicle
Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 90 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Transport, hereby exempts, from the requirements of regulation 58, subclause (1A) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the class of motor vehicle specified in the Schedule hereto, subject to the conditions in the Schedule.
Schedule
A motor vehicle with 3 wheels symmetrically arranged in relation to the longitudinal median axis, with one wheel at the front and two at the rear, and with a gross vehicle weight not exceeding 1000 kilograms, and either an engine cylinder capacity exceeding 50 millilitres or a maximum speed exceeding 50 kilometres per hour, and does not exceed 1.5 metres in width.
Conditions: The single headlamp fitted to this class of motor vehicle shall comply with all other requirements of regulation 58 where appropriate.

Transport Act 1962
Approval of Child Restraints for Use in Motor Vehicles
Pursuant to section 77b of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport by an instrument of delegation dated the 14th day of November 1989, child restraints of the types described in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of section 77c of the said Act and for the purposes of regulations 30 and 30a of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule
Child restraints manufactured before the 1st day of June 1990 that comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213 of the United States of America and are marked or otherwise labelled accordingly.
Child restraints which are certified by the Standards Association of New Zealand as complying with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213 of the United States of America and which are marked or otherwise labelled accordingly.
