Lake Taupo Regulations 1976

Lake Taupo: Area Reserved for Racing Notice 1990

Pursuant to regulation 25 of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government hereby makes the following notice:

1. This notice may be cited as the Lake Taupo: Area Reserved for Racing Notice 1990.

2. This notice shall have effect from the 18th day of March 1990 until the 31st day of March 1990.

3. The area described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby reserved for racing by Grand Prix Hydroplane class craft between sunrise and 9 a.m.

4. No other class of vessel shall enter the reserved area unless they are support craft to a grand prix hydroplane.

Schedule

All that area of Lake Taupo known as Tapuaeharuru Bay and Five Mile Bay north of a line extending from Whakamoenga Point to the Waitahanui River Mouth as marked by 300 mm diameter red plastic float buoys.

Pursuant to section 38s (7) of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, I, the Honourable David Francis Caygill, the Minister of Finance, in accordance with a recommendation of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, give the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the DFC New Zealand Limited (Appointment of Advisory Committee) Notice 1990.

2. Appointment of additional member to advisory committee:

(i) George Markou of Sydney, banker, or, in his absence, Bruce Message of Sydney, banker, or, in the absence of both, John Belisle of New York, banker, or in the absence of all the foregoing, Gev Nentin of New York, banker, are hereby appointed as additional members of the advisory committee to advise the statutory managers of the companies that are subject to statutory management under Part VC of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964 by virtue of the DFC New Zealand Limited (Statutory Management) Order 1989 on the exercise of the powers conferred by Part VC of that Act in relation to those companies.

(ii) The additional members named in this notice are appointed for a period that commences on the 1st day of March 1990 and that expires at 8 a.m. on the 3rd day of April 1990.
