Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the Mata Farm Settlement Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei County
504 square metres, more or less, being Part Allotment 142, Ruakaka Parish situated in Block VI, Ruakaka Survey District. Part Gazette notice 487539.1 (New Zealand Gazette 1979, page 18). Shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 61753.

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei County
2.1821 hectares, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2 L.T. Plan 118403 (Part Lot 4, D.P. 919), situated in Block VI, Ruakaka Survey District. Part certificate of title 112/68.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration that the Reserve be part of the Hawksbury Lagoon Wildlife Refuge Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a government purpose reserve (wildlife refuge), and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Hawksbury Lagoon Wildlife Refuge Reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Region of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hamilton City Council on the 25th day of October 1989:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

2.1848 hectares, more or less, being Part Lot 26, D.P. S. 14382, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District. Balance certificate of title 12C/77.

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1990, No. 3.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
