Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice 1989, Amendment No. 3

Pursuant to the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice 1989, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of the Authorised Life Insurance Companies, Notice 1989* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

   (2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2. Revocation of authorisation of life insurance company—The declaration that ACL Insurance Limited is an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company is hereby revoked.

3. New Schedule substituted—The Schedule to the principal notice is hereby revoked and the following schedule is substituted.

   The Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice 1989, notified in the Gazette, No. 119, 29 June 1989, at pages 2852–2853; supplement dated 30 June 1989.
   Amendment No. 1, Gazette, No. 126, 20 July 1989, pages 3123–3126; supplement dated 24 July 1989.
   Amendment No. 2, Gazette No. 171, 2 October 1989, pages 4659–4670.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This note revokes the declaration that ACL Insurance Ltd. is an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978 and deletes the name of that company from the Schedule to The Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice 1989.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

1,3294 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 14315, situated in Block VIII, Woodville Survey District.
