Amending a Notice Declaring Railway Land on the Kingston Branch Railway Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Declared Crown Land

Southland Land District

Pursuant to sections 10 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, hereby amends the notice dated the 25th day of September 1990, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 September 1990, No. 169, page 3570 by:

Firstly, omitting all the land seventy-sixthly, seventy-seventieth and seventy-ninety described therein;

Secondly, amending the following description:

(a) Deleting all the land forty-thirldly described therein and substituting the words “3,2425. Part Railway Reserve, situated in Block XVII, Hokonui Survey District; shown marked ‘A’ on Plan L.O. 35462 (S.O. 10741)”.

Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in the District of Tasman

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Senior Property Officer, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson, declares that, the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by The Tasman District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road and Land Declared to be Limited Access Road in the District of Tasman

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Senior Property Officer, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a limited access road which becomes road, limited access road, and State highway and vests in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be set apart for a limited access road, which has become road, limited access road, and State highway and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Nelson Land District—Tasman District

249 square metres, situated in Block XII, Wai-iti Survey District, being part Section 82, Waimea South District: as shown marked “C” on S.O. Plan 14473, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson.

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 14473, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson.
