Revocation of a Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wellington Conservancy, of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for plantation purposes over the lands, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Horowhenua District Council at a market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Stony Creek Scenic Reserve.
